We are located on the Crystal Coast (southern-most Outer Banks) of eastern North Carolina on Bogue Banks. Most visitors will reach us by way of Highway 70 (coming into Morehead City), Highway 58 coming out of Kinston (coming into Cape Carteret), or Highway 24 coming out of Jacksonville (also coming into Cape Carteret). We are situated between mile marker 10 1/2 and 11. And we are closer to mile marker 10 1/2 on highway 58 in Salter Path.

If you enter the island via Morehead City (Hwy 70), take a right onto Hwy 58 after crossing over the bridge onto Atlantic Beach. We are approximately 8 miles into the island. If you enter the island via Cape Carteret, there is no need to turn. Once you have crossed over the bridge onto Emerald Isle, you are already on Hwy 58 and will travel approximately 11 miles into the island.

Arriving in Salter Path from Atlantic Beach:
You will pass an amusement park on your right as you are entering Salter Path. Just beyond that is Whidden Landing Restaurant on the right. We are (on your left) next to The Big Oak Drive-In.

Arriving in Salter Path from Emerald Isle:
As you enter Salter Path, continue past several stores, Frost Seafood, and the brick Methodist church on your left. We are on the right just after the church, directly across the street from Whidden Landing Restaurant and adjacent to The Big Oak Drive-In.
